Our center is owned by husband and wife team, Shane and Tristen Floyd. Tristen has been at the center since 2007 after graduating from Tarleton State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management. She started as a teacher, then earned her Director’s license in 2008 and is currently the Owner, as of November 2023 when her mother in law retired! Both Shane and Tristen were born and raised in Liberty Hill and have a son, who is their whole world and their reason “why” of owning Happy Trails Learning Center! Our goal is to offer a place where children are loved, safe and treated as our own while in our care. While Liberty Hill is growing, we always want to keep our small town feel within our walls and consider you family when you are in our center!
Happy Trails operates with 2 Assistant Directors, Theresa Robles and Cindy Chandler! Theresa has been with Happy Trails since 2011 and Cindy has been with Happy Trails since 2019!
We also have 16 amazing full time teachers, who put their heart and soul in our classrooms! We love what we do and teach Frog Street Curriculum every day! We follow a schedule each day for outside play, meal times, free play, center play and curriculum time.
We are open Monday – Friday 6:30 AM until 6:00 PM, closed on major holidays!
In case of inclement weather, we will follow the same schedule as Liberty Hill ISD for closings or delay of opening. Please refer to their website below for updates!
